Sometimes, fillers and foliage are used interchangeably but there is a difference. Fillers comprise of the majority of the flower arrangement and are usually smaller flowers that bring out the best of the main flowers. Foliage, on the other hand, are the backbone of the flower arrangement that ties the entire arrangement together.
Lavender is a flowering plant in the mint family. It's purple lavender flowers with a trace of mauve symbolise purity, devotion, calmness, and elegance. Roses goes very well with lavender so does other flowers in yellow, orange and red. They will bring a burst of colour that will brighten up the room.
