The Nutcracker is a timeless classic that first started in 1892. It was the story of a German girl whose nutcracker came to life on Christmas eve and lead the fierce battle against the evil mouse king. In German tradition, nutcracker dolls represent the power of good luck and were given as keepsakes to bring good luck to the receiver and keep danger away. On the second half of the 20th century, it became a purely decorative doll while it was a real functioning nutcracker prior to that.
