Hosepipe fittings are either classed as male or female. The female hose connectors are used on the ends of the hose and therefore called hose connectors. The male is used on the tap, spray nozzles, pressure washers, and lawn sprinklers and therefore called hose adaptor.
These hose adapters suit 1" and 3/4" taps and 1/2" hose connectors. Simply attach to hose tap connector to tap thread and twist until secured in place.
